I have read a few posts related to the windshield screw molding. Currently I have a foam product that over time has shrunk and needs to be replaced. I have determined about 25 ft of product will do the trick. I purchase the molding from marinemax and see the picture below of what they sent me and I just don't think the new product will make a good seal like a foam replacement. Maybe the rubber is better, but I cut a short piece off and put the flat piece on the bottom and tucked the hooked side in on the top. Take a look at the pictures and let me know if any of you guys have used the new rubber mold or foam replacement. Thanks Rick

Sea Ray has been using the rubber stuff for many, many years. Although it can still shrink over time, I do think it's a step up over the foam. Keep in mind that this really isn't a "seal". It's only meant to fill the channel (aesthetics) and keep most of the water and debris out of the channel. The channel has drains built into it and the screws, themselves, should be removed and properly re-sealed every so often.

This ^^^

it shrinks length wise but works well. I installed fat side down and left extra length tucked well under the ends as much as possible.

I used the stuff noted below last year with great results. It's the foam, not the rubber. Cheap and relatively easy.

New type last longer than foam. It is little more difficult to work with and doesn't allow for error. With foam if you cut little too short, you glue one end, stretch it and glue another end. That doesn't work with new seal.
