Remove Windshield Wiper

As you can see, this is an old wiper that needs to be removed. However, it has no cap, screw, bolt, etc. How can I remove the entire wiper from the shaft?
 
It might have a reliese mechanism up inside where the spring attaches.
It might have a spline in witch case you will have to tap it up, Or the black cover swings up and might have a nut to remove first

Try this:

Tilt it up away from the windshield and stick the largest diameter drill bit (or an awl) into the hole with the rust stain around it as shown in the picture. Let the spring pull the arm back toward the glass and pinch the drill bit. Now you may be able to remove the arm from the splines.
If it doesn’t remove easily, it may be rusted on..........or my method is way off base.
