Lake Saint Clair Peeps

Irie is all waxed up and covered with a thin plastic sheet. My guys got a new toy this season and when done, my hull and top decks were reading 97.5 on his Gloss meter. Now just want to tackle a couple of simple projects and counting down the days until we are back out on Anchor Bay.

Okay.... that’s a bit of over achiever stuff right there being done and ready b4 Christmas.
I just started looking at ceramic coating the blue. Too many choices, still investigating...But good to know the bar now is 97.5 :)

Sounds awesome Brent, just think how them fireworks in Port Austin are going to look reflecting off that hull next season. Who do you use to wheel the boat out? Joe at Michigan Boat Services has done mine every year since I bought it in 16'.

Hey Joe,
The Power's Brothers do our boat, I think their company name is Yacht Detailers. I known them since I was 16 years old and they are really good at their craft. We are lucky that they fit us into their schedule. This first year we had this boat (CY2016), they came and helped me get her all ready for the season. The next year, I took it on myself but then the last couple of seasons, I had them come back to work on the boat. With knowing them so long, not only do I trust them with our boat, but they make it look better and better every year.

Looking good Brent, I hope your boat don't tell my boat about being warm all winter. I told her that all boats get wrapped up in plastic and put in front of their summer home on stands. She seemed happy about it, but then again she didn't know I wasn't being truthful either.:D:D:D:D

Joe this is Fn hilarious!!

How are all the LSC peeps doing? I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I know we have bigger problems than launching a boat right now and I'm not trying to down play the pandemic. I'm just curious what everyone is either thinking or hearing from their marina's about getting the boat back in the water. I know alot depends on the "Stay Safe Stay Home" order. Once again just curious what everyone else is thinking. Stay safe everyone.

I posted on another thread Jefferson beach closed today indefinitely.
I was at the boat yesterday in storage...open for now
