I am going to replace my cockpit icemaker for a fridge and I am having a tough time figuring out the best option including what will fit. I don't need a freezer in it as it will just waste space for other items. It will also need to be 12v/110v and will need wired properly. Does anyone know what my options are?

Has anyone replaced theirs and if so what did they choose for replacement?

If I recall correctly you'll need to run the 12V "new" as our ice makers are only 110V. Not a big deal but worth considering. You'll also need to cap off the water line.

Defender marine carries most of our stock fridge options. Get ready for sticker shock...and truck freight :)

Another option is West Marine...avoid the freight expense. I'd probably skip Norcold and go for Isotherm if you can make one fit...

From what I have read. Keep the ice maker turn the thermostat back to make it a refrigerator.

My 44DB came with a factory refrigerator. The PO has replaced it with a dorm style fridge that was pure 110v. I enlarged the hole and replaced it with this one-

Had to enlarge the hole, but it is much larger than the one that came in it.
