I'm in lanoka harbor. Anyone else around the area?

I'm near Atlantic City, but next year will be keeping our boat in Salem for quick access to the Chesapeake. Will be bringing it out for the AC airshow though.

That's pretty cool. Somewhat local 40 mins away (if I do 80)

Hey Jeff- where are you at in Lanoka?? ocean beach or right in Lanoka harbor marina? Or somewhere else? I have been boating here for 20 something years, almost permanent resident at Tices.

PM me back in case I don't see the response here.

Jeff

This is not actually the area for NJ. we are in the mid atlantic thread not the northeast section were I would have thought it would be.

Strange..... But I'm right in laurel harbor marina.

what dock are you on and how long have you been there?
I have been on C - dock @ Lanoka , out on the Tee for 20 years.

I did ALOT of work out of lanoka harbor I actually worked at j&e for a short while. Like I said I'm at laurel harbor, right on laurel Blvd. I'm on the 1st tee dock over there. I'm one of the few still in. My boat has been at laurel for about 20 years though.

Lanoka Harbor Marina also. Will be our first season there after 4 years at Key Harbor in Waretown.
Had the boat pulled there early Sept after engine problems.

I will be in slip 105 on the second pier.
Boat name Cop Out.
As far as the engine work, a friend helped. We ended up having to rebuild both engines.
In July the port engine hydro locked and we found the cause was a rusted out head. Since both motors
had the same hours and I didn’t know the true maintenance, we decided to do both motors. Thankfully we did, found the starboard motor needed heads as well. She’s all back together, running then winterized.

Hey I was in slip 72. I've seen your boat. Nice boat. I thought you guys were pulling out a generator when I saw you all working on it. My wife and I were basically summer time liveaboards, we were always on the boat. We didn't go home at all..... As for the boat I'll be doing the work. We actually just moved it over to tides end marina and they pulled it out..... It's Costing us less and I like the place better. Not that I don't like jack or pat, just the owner isn't willing to work with us on certain things. Plus I'll have better access to equipment I may not have to do the swap. My boats name was sueybooey. It was shenanigans. My wife's name is sue and that's her nickname.

Hey Jeff8330
Like I mentioned, this will be our first year at Laurel Harbor. We moved our boat there because the fees were half what we were paying at Key Harbor and our friend has his 32’ Sea Ray there too. Granted we were less than a minute from being in the bay and on plane but, when the storms rolled in we got rocked in the slip. I’m looking forward to the boat being more inland protected from the winds and rough bay. I’m surprised any Marina on Forked River cost less. Best of luck at Tides End.

Sarges ----- Laurel Harbor? or Lanoka Harbor? Two different places. I'm on the hard directly across from rest rooms near the bulkhead, @ Lanoka .
