If you have dogs on your boat I would think hard about seadek. Not horrible but my dogs certainly put some claw marks in mine.. just fyi.

I went with a light gray on mine. It cleans up quite nicely with simple green when it does get dirty. Looks like brand new after a few minutes of effort...

I went with beige and holly lines (white) and yea it gets dirty but it’s flooring and on a boat.. It’s super easy to clean though. Like anything, it needs love every once in a while.

I recently had Seadek installed on my boat .It really adds to the look of the boat and it is comfortable to walk on.On the negative side it is a very soft product that will damage very easily. If you drop an object on the Seadek it will cause damage. In my case I dropped a seat cushion and it resulted in a dent in the Seadek. It is not a durable product .Just my opinion

Thanks for your input. I've scanned online for pics of foam padding with white or light colored lines and could only come up with this example. I really like it! My top color will be a bit darker though.

I'm light grey and white. I literally clean mine with water. It does get dirty and needs cleaning after any activity. That's mostly because we are close to final final on some days, of mostly private traffic, which gives us an exhaust residue on the docks and walkways. So everyone that gets on board tracks the residue. I use a low power pressure washer, and do the entire cockpit and platform in about 10 minutes without any cleaning products. The white is always white, and the grey always looks brand new.

Given your experience, if I use my boat for diving with my buds, do you think this stuff would get destroyed by scuba tanks?

Tanks will leave a dent for a while but they should go away. You just want to be careful not to tear the floor with dragging a tank across it...

It does clean up easy and its durable but dogs and scuba gears will tear it. Its looks great and is comfy on feet.

I'm in the white stripe camp. I think it blends in better, and you focus more on the brown. I think it looks like a more natural fit, color-wise.

I do like the white, but as to what others have said, I believe you would see more dirt. I've had the black for awhile now.

In regards to the scuba tanks, I would be careful. IMO SeaDek is pretty durable but if you drop a tank on its edge too hard it could damage the foam. I was tapping on a fishing reel crank trying to remove it, not thinking it was on the foam and it left a mark.

I did mocha over camel on our previous boat and wasn’t bad at all.
