This is one of the best days to look back on during the harsh winter days to come, Not a ripple to be found that day. The picture just happens to be the real Amityville Horror House, Its on my canal in Amityville New York, True story if you seen the movie

Nice!
I used to pass it a lot in the summers when my kids sailed at Narrasketuck.
My dock property is on the Lindenhurst side of the Venice Canal so we’re down in the area a lot in the season.
BTW:
It was a lot like that early Saturday morning when we headed over to Tobay for the final pumpout.
The bay was like glass late this afternoon too. I got to give the boat a good washdown. Here is a picture I took when I was done.

Awesome we don't get to many days like that. It's always that south, South west , or even worse south easterly wind kicking across the bay. Ive been out for two weeks now, I usually pull the third, or fourth week in October .

I’m is reading the Wikipedia page on the house and the movie based on it and the murders in 74, quite fascinating.

I’ve been coming out a day or two before Thanksgiving, but since it’s late this year I’ll probably come out later this week or early next week.
