On my new to me 380AC the boat was in desperate need of a bottom job. I thought I would show some pictures. Will add as progress goes on. Unfortunately I don't have any photos before they pressure washed the bottom, nor pics of the bottom while the boat was in the water before I had a diver get off as much as he could. Suffice it to say that it was a marine jungle :)

Is there someone on the board who supplies replacement boot stripes?

One of the advertisers is hullstripes.com. I wanted to get some feedback...

Carter,
I got my new boot stripes from them last Spring. Shipping was pretty quick and the quality of the vinyl is good.
I’d say they’re better quality than the vinyl used on the name and hailing port on the transom.
We got those (name & hailing port) from a vendor at a boat show and were a little disappointed. They are decent enough, but for what they cost me I should have gone with the local sign guy who uses top quality vinyl.
I could have gotten the boot stripes for a bit less from the local sign guy, but his vendor was having problems with his cutting machine and I didn’t want to wait.
Here are a couple of pictures of it installed last Spring. I put them on a couple of days before I bottom painted and splashed.
The boat is still in the water so I haven’t had a chance to inspect them up too close, but they appear to be holding up really well.
I ordered the double stripes for along the top of the cabin at the same time too, but got anxious to splash and didn’t install them last Spring.
They’re on the “to do” list for this coming Spring.

Thanks JVM - I'm hauling in May for a bottom job, and I'll have them do my stripes.

Google “Rapid Remover - Vinyl Letter Remover”.
That’s what I used, along with plastic razor blades, to remove the old stripes and it worked great. It’s water based so it’s easy to work with.
I bought a gallon of the stuff and still have enough left to do the stripes on the topsides.
I had a heat gun handy for tough spots but really didn’t have to use it too much.
After spraying the product on and waiting the amount of time (a minute or so) the instructions said, I was able to peel most of the old striping off.
After it was mostly off I re-applied the product to get the scraps and residue left behind.
It went pretty quick.

Joey- the guys at the yard did it. I am not sure what they used. They called it on the estimate a hard sand. I wished I was in Florida while they are doing the job, I would like to watch the progress. The photos are ones they sent me.
