The head will let water into the bowl but it doesn't flush. Makes no noise. How should I troubleshoot this?

Thanks

Check fuse... if good, check for power at pump when pedal is depressed. If you don't have power, there could be a clog tricking the pump into thinking the pedal hasn't been depressed (releasing vacuum). If you do have power at the pump, then most likely the pump motor is sticking/shot. Possibly a sticking vac switch, too. Is there any noise at all from the pump when the pedal is depressed? Does your system use a "do nut flush" style light on the head switch? Meaning, on some systems, if the tank is full (or possibly stuck from sitting with a full tank for a while before pump out), it won't allowing flushing.

It was clogged. I stuck my hand in there and unclogged it. Almost sucked my arm in!!!

Lucky you! These clogs can happen further down the line and really be a pain. Have some good rules about the head usage!
