I've looked for other inboard SkiRay's at lakes we have taken our boat to, not any around it seems. Is the Sporter BR inboard SeaRay that rare? Are there any others on this site that see them?

They are very rare........and well cared for ones in good mechanical condition are even more rare.

I look for them regularly and usually get frustrated and quit looking after either not finding any or finding one in East Jesus County, Oregon...........

Mine is in very good shape, other than the scratches from dock rash. Mine is the more rare burgundy/orchid color. Most were turqouise/blue, or red, white and blue. My dad bought it in 98 from a guy who used it very little. Dad gave it to me in 2004 when he couldn't pull it on the trailer any longer due to health. It had 193 hrs when he bought it, it now has 1027 hrs. We had the seats redone by a SeaRay authorized upholstery shop 4 years ago. They could put the SeaRay logo's back in the seatbacks. That keeps it almost factory OEM. Last year I had to replace the ring gear and starter, while the motor was out the shop found the oilpan was rusted almost through. I too have looked for another one and they are none out there. We are on a large lake here in Va and everyone stops and talks to us when we dock. I've had a lot of offers to buy it, but this one stays in the family.

Hi. Just joined the site. I purchased a 1995 22' Sportster BR a year ago today. Had looked for very long time before we finally found one. You are right they are rare. Recently added a Roswell tower that is not overbearing and fits the boat esthetics well. Amazed at the quality of components used and the color of the gel coat after 24 yrs. I would have preferred the burgundy or blue. Interested to hear about your experiences and if there is a place where i can find more material on these boats. Where are you located? Interior is in nice shape but thinking to have updated. Who did your interior? Really interested to know how many of these were ordered with the optional 454 Magnum. Feel like i found a unicorn!

Love those boats - I am an old Correct Craft fan. Always looking for a CC Skier, Ski Tique and Ski Nautique. People who have never had a small inboard ski boat don't know what they are missing.

I have had 2 of the same boat and color, but mine had the 350 Mag Ski Engine which is sadly approaching end of life. Can you send a bunch of pictures of your motor, carb cables, and mounts etc so I can try determine what may be involved in upgrading mine to a 454. Not trying to take anything away from your unicorn :)

I have the passenger / port windshield and middle windshield, and driver side frame off a 190BR if anyone needs one.

Howdy, everyone first time on this site. We just bought the Sportster BR. It has the 350 Mag Ski in it. This is our family's first boat. We took it out on the water yesterday and it was a blast. Looking forward to many good summers on the lake with it. The interior has a couple of issues. Does Sea Ray still sell the seat cushions? I looked it up in the SeaRay parts catalog and the prices seem almost too good to be true.

Most good interior guys can remake the seats I had 4 done last summer and when I bought mine it was missing the center cushion

Hey there skiray 'ers. I just picked up a 1992 skiray 190 closed bow with the merc 350 mag. Just dropping a line to keep track of these rare birds. South Carolina based. Was loved once as I like to say. Needs some TLC once I verify mechanical reliability. Keep 'em wet. -J

Hello, I was wondering if you still have intrest in the skirays. I believe I may have what you have been unable to find. A 95 skiray spitfire tournament IB in mint condition both externally and mechanically with about 8 hours on it. I also have come to realize just how rare this is and was looking for some guidance and direction on both an accurate pricepoint and where to list this rare beauty.
