How to save money on slip fees

Will be plugging in a little heater inside this weekend for a last night on the boat this friday with the boys,Then get all the bedding and foodstuffs out , solar panel array down and get her winterized and tarped in on sat and Sunday. Happy to have her backed up to the shop this year it will be alot easier in the spring when I plan on a few projects before launch. New horns a full polish and wax and rebedding deck fasteners.

When our 1993 370 Express was new it was rebadged from a 350 to a 370 by SR doing ther marketing thingy. It was 40'+ loa as built. I took the 350 decal off the stern when we bought it. For slip rentals and storage purposes it was a 35 footer. When it was for sale, it was 40' overall. (;-)

You are a hardy one! Temperatures near freezing, snow flurries in the forecast, and seems like we have had a permanent Strong Wind or Gale warning in place for Georgian Bay since October 1st. Way past my enjoyment level.

I get my boat shrinkwrapped now. But in the past I have done the tarp and frame DIY, slipping around on the deck in early November on snow and ice trying to get the tarp frame up and tarp strung over in the cold and rain and wind. Not any more. You start to run out of friends to help after a few years.

Have fun and be safe!

I'll be safe I have a system that I do it myself ,I've got a thirty foot pine log that I debarge and climbed a few years back that I use for a ridge pole between uprights to the ground and only one shorter upright , I use a heavy rubberized tarp like a truckers tarp and it is only a 2 hr job for me
