Hello, first post
I own a sundancer 290 -96 and i want too remove the driver seat.
How too?
 
If you dont see any nuts on underside then there is two options.
Seat was installed using blind nuts, toggle bolt nuts or something similar. If that is the case simply unscrew the base
Other possibility is that there are nuts and to access them you either have to drop down head liner or install access plate.
 
The seat is mounted on sliding rails like a car seat, there has to be a way to push it beyond the end points?
 
Ooo.., you didnt want to remove whole seat! You can either unscrew it from pedestal or slide it from tracks. There is limit stop on tracks - either screw or rivet. If you have a rivet - drill out and replace with screw when reinstalling.
 
I felt like a moron today. i couldn't figure out how to remove the drivers seat either. didnt realize there was a storage compartment that was accessed by folding down the seat behind it. i have had this boat for 3 years now. at least i found 7 life jackets in good condition and a garden hose.
 
Me neither found the compartment two weeks ago, after that i was really easy to remove the seat. Had the boat for two years
