The dry weight usually does not include fuel, water and your stuff. So, add 6*200=1200 pounds for gas, water is 8*40 gallons, 320 pounds, probably 500 for your stuff, don’t forget the waste tank, so minimum add 1500 pounds to the dry weight. The dry weight of my 07 320 is over 14k, so minimum 16k lift would be needed I think. (Not an engineer though!)

Winterizing question as this is my first season. I have an 03 with 350 Mags. Wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything when it comes to winterizing the engines and generator. I’ve winterized my own boat for years but this closed cooling engine is all new to me. (Previously 318 Chrysler’s where I drained the blocks filled through Tstat housing and ran a few gallons through exhaust)

My plan:
Clean strainer and drain/suck out with shop vac
Pour some antifreeze in the strainer
Remove intake hose from strainer and connect longer hose
Either fill a bucket or use a large funnel to pour antifreeze (-100) in the line
Start engine
Run about 3 gallons through until I see antifreeze coming out the exhaust

Am I missing anything? Ive already stabilized the fuel and changed the oil before the boat was pulled today.

I plan to do similar with the ac and pump antifreeze through the system until it comes out the side.

Final question on water system. Do I need to do anything with the city water connection? I’ve run antifreeze through the rest of the system through the tank and fresh water pump, including head, transom shower and water spicket in the transom locker.

Thanks to anyone who can share advise or how they do it etc.

i have a crack in this unit in my Sea Ray 320 2003 - looking to replace during off season while being completely renovated interior - any idea where i can get replacement

Hmmm it just worked for me.
I googled Boat Salvage yards in NYS
I found that calling SR for a boat older than a couple of years yields little results. Many parts were made by outsourcing and if it isn't a current model not much success.

thanks it is working now - user error maybe :)
love to see pics of your boat or mods/upgrades you have done
what do you have for audio/video
GPS/NAV
Lighting
anything you want to share -
I am in the process of renovation and want to take all ideas dos and don'ts - loves and STAY AWAYS
welcome anything you can share - advice etc..

I got mine same time as you so I have a list for Neil Hubble who used to be the service manager at Dunhams bay. He is reasonable and easy to work with.
I need to upgrade the Stereo...Replace the Clarion with a Fusion head unit, change the amp to a Rockford fosgate 700W. Replace the cockpit speakers to Rockford Fosgate and add a sub woofer (Rockford Fosgate). I ...like you are missing the Glomex TV antennae, so replace that. I have a little gouge on the swim platform to be filled. Also thinking of covering the swim platform with that Aqua Mat. Mine came with winter storage at Harris Bay but I have been using George Sicard for about 12 years and will go back to him next season, he even pulls it out from inside stoarage in the beginning of the year if you have any waxing or other projects to do on land..
Yeah, keep in touch...looks like we are both figuring out stuff at the same time.

That's quite a list...Where are you going to put the TV? and the Glomex is the powered TV antennae. We both will just need the buy the top part for about 125.00 as the wiring is probly all still there.

If you contact Glomex they should replace it free. They have a lifetime no hassle warranty.

New to me 320 - doing a complete renovation
Pulled the seats throughout to be completely redone -
This is what it looks like with the seats out - step two is all new lighting, GPS, Audio, Video, Vessel View - Going to be a lot easier with the boat gutted like this - but super happy that Step 3 is detailing - cause removing the seats revealed that this boat is in desperate need.
Can't wait to see the outcome...the new seats and it fully clean - gonna be brand new and clean down to the bones with all new tech, audio, video, lighting interior and exterior, fridges, all new interior with diamond stitching and a fresh bottom paint and having the props retuned for a fresh new ride - good to go and so excited for boating season to start.

Steven - good pics and thanks for posting. How easy was it to take those pads off the radar arch? I want to get behind there to run some wires. I just don't want to break any fasteners - if possible!

Honestly I don't know the people doing the interior did it - but I have gotten that question a lot from people looking to put speakers and stuff behind - the answer is yes they just pull off.
Thanks so much for your comments and support.

Like he said, they just pull off. There is a tool for this, though, a friend of mine works on stereos in cars and he gave me panel trim tool, looks like a pair of pliers, but when you squeeze, they open up, instead of closing. You slide it between the trim piece and your radar arch, then squeeze, and it pops the “Christmas tree” out. I put some protective tape on the tool to prevent it from scratching the fiberglass.
