Hi,
I want to replace the vent window gasket for my 98 400EC it is brittle and falling apart. When it rains my dashboard is getting wet.. I called Taylor Made and they said the part is obsolete. Does anyone know what replacement part would work for this window?

I replaced mine but had to go through Sea Ray to get to Taylor... Taylor made had to fabricate it... Basically miter the corners and glue it together. I am surprised they say it's obsolete and can't fabricate something else that is similar... Have you tried your local searay dealer?

Replaced the same gasket on my 400DA. Taylor made sold me rubber stock that I cut to the appropriate length. It all fit in the channel and worked great. Just need to talk with the right sales Rep

I scraped it all out and installed basic rubber insulation strip available at ace hardware. I think it was 1/2 inch thick by 3/4 wide on a roll and self stick. cut the tree side a tiny bit long and stuffed it in there. because most of the water runs down and "shingles" off I haven't had any leaks.
