I have pulled both my engines so looking at putting better sound proofing in while engines are out. any Suggestions of what works?

I had great luck with sound down. They are the OEM company. The new stuff has a layer of rubber between the foam. It’s not cheap though.

I'm looking to do the same on my 370EC with twin CATs. I'm looking to reduce the noise level in the cockpit during cruise, it's pretty unbearable at the moment. Is it sufficient to put the sound barrier on the cockpit floor (obviously the engine room side) and seal around the hatch opening, or would I need to do more, like the hull sides and floor?

I spoke at length with a noise reduction company @ the Seattle Boat Show a couple of years ago... They were out of Spokane I believe.

I personally liked the sound of engines or genny running....a keen ear can diagnose an issue quickly.
Just my 2 cents.
I'm not looking to eliminate it completely (if that would even be possible), but I do need to reduce it significantly. Cruising for 4-5 hours at a time at planing speeds can be pretty unbearable without noise cancelling / hearing protection on. Reducing the noise level would make it acceptable without removing the sound completely so we could still hear any anomalies of a smooth running engine.
