So ballpark...how much does a swim platform off an 8'6 beam boat weight? About 24" deep. Just trying to get an idea. Will be pulling it before going to storage. Has a soft spot so planning on re-coring it over winter. Plan is to set a folding table under each end with a jackstand under it to support it while we unbolt it. Figuring on have 2 of us there. Guessing 200lbs?

FWIW it's on a Crownline boat but just looking for a ballpark number

Might be worth contacting the staff at swimplatforms.com. They should be able to give you a good idea as to the weight.

That isn't bad. Wasn't sure if it was 100 or 500...lol. Mine is probably a little heavier with all the water soaked into it...lol

I believe www.swimplatforms.com has a direct replacement for that platform. You may try reaching out about getting one rather than go through all the trouble of re-coring.

I looked on their site awhile ago and there was none listed. But I know for one that size it is about $2500. I can fix mine for about $300-400. And I'm sure I would have to ship my old one to them. It wraps around the back of the transom.
Got the old one off. Probably 100-150lbs.

Got the old platform off. Weighed about 100-150. Contacted swimplatforms.com and they do have an exact duplicate of the original for about $1770 plus about $350 shipped.
