Hi folks,
If only I had a manual for this boat.

I have two batteries connected..foot moves so hydraulics work. However when I turn the key nothing happens, no switches do anything either. Is there a safety switch or something simple I’m missing??

A couple of things to check... On an '83 I'm not sure, but there may be a fuse (50 Amp?) mounted right on the starter, or up on top of the engine, a breaker with a yellow test button and a flag reset. Either of these two devices supply power to the dash/ignition.

Best of luck and welcome to CSR!

You mean this guy?

Thanks by the way

have you checked the battery switch? trim may be connected directly to the battery. Check for voltage at the orange alt output post with the motor off. you should see battery voltage. If not ,look for a square white plastic square mounted at the starters main post. All power begins at the starter first.
