I bounce around a bit based on what I just purchased, but lately it's my Glock 36 .45. As a backup I also have my Glock 42 .380 with me most of the time.

I hold a WV CCW.

What's your favorite carry?

I have been using a Sig 229 9mm, although I just got a SA EMP 4 contour carry that shows real promise. But I’m in gun challenged MA, so my options are somewhat limited.

Prior to retirement I didn’t carry that often as my work involved frequent air travel, or working in locations like marine and rail terminals where guns were for the most part banned.

I don't normally carry when I'm around town but if we're headed out of town I'll toss my S&W Model 60, .38sp in the car.

If we're headed on a longer trip I will pick from a couple of S&W 9mm's that I have, but that's not often.

As I put in the other post about the broken skeg since it went off topic, Kimber 1911 (.45) Desert Warrior. Also love my CZ 85 if I'm shooting 9mm. My wife prefers her Sig 229, but it's too small for my hands.

On a rare occasion, depending on where I'm going or what time I'm passing through, I'll have my SW Mod 36 in the car. My wife doesn't like it, so usually she doesn't know.

The only times I might have a gun on me is when I'm in the woods, it's not necessary and I don't always do that either. My favorite is my SW Mod 41 and then my Ruger Single Six, both good, accurate .22 handguns. Skipping the debate on .22 for defense, size alone wouldn't make them a good choice for concealed carry. The Ruger was an excellent handgun to use teaching the kids being it's single action only.

I've heard good things about the G36. Depending on the need for concealibility either an XD-S 45 or an XD-M Compact 40.

I daily carry a XDS 9mm or XDS 45. Both have the stainless slides. I have put the PRP trigger kits in and the PRP grip and tritium night sights on both. Both are tack drivers and they fit the same holster. The 9mm has seen more rounds only because it is cheaper to take to the range. I bought the Admiral a purple Ruger LC9 for a carry. But, she still prefers to carry her double stacked XD9 mod.2. I ain't going to argue with her. She can out-shoot me.

Used to work in law enforcement so had a Glock model 22 and model 27. Had a few others prior to those. Now I still have the model 22 but it stays in the house in case of emergencies and I have a S&W S&P Shield 2.0 9mm that goes with me if I leave town at all.

Step-son is a detective and has a bunch of them. Carries a different one each day I think...lol. Other step-son has a 1911 but it's too big to carry concealed. Son has a Ruger LC9 9mm and daughter has a Glock model 43 and a Ruger LCS something or other....lol

Daily Carry. Depending on the season either a Glock 19 or S&W Shield in 9mm. Both are loaded with Federal HST 124gr+p

Who says I carry.

Living out in the country in Nor Cal I rarely carry but when I do I love my Bersa Firestorm 380 ACP. When we are on the boat I have either that or pack my Taurus Judge for Maximum stopping power at close range. I alternate OO Buck shot and 45 mag longs in the cylinder.

Ruger LCP .380. With a front pocket holster, it's the size of a wallet.

I haven't carried in awhile tho.......

Glock 43 or Remington RM380 in summer. Glock 43 or Glock 26 in winter when concealment is easier.

An armed society is a polite society.

All it takes for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing.

Been carrying a G36 for about 10 years now. It shoots as well, for me, as a VERY well made 1911 that I can't bring myself to carry daily. The day after I first shot the G36 I went back to the store and bought 2 more. In case this one ever wears out. I've tried other versions, smaller, different brands, etc., but this one just shoots so well.

Im in law enforcement for 22 years now. Caried a bunch of diffent guns over my career. I now Carry a glock 27 40 cal off duty and a sig 227 45 cal on duty. My back up is a shotgun and AR.
