Been running the generator all season long (since I bought the boat in June) without issue.
Ran all day yesterday - but on the way back to the dock it alarmed, then shutdown.
At the dock I tried to restart it - it fired up, then sputtered and died. I'm new to this one s- so now I know I should really go back and read the blinking lights. The impellar was replaced in June - so I don't think it's a cooling issue.
My gut is telling me that it could be a fuel issue (due to the sputtering). There is a label on the generator stating that the last filter change was in 2017 - but I'm really hoping that isn't true.
Any things to look for or otherwise report back on?
