Are you mad at Direct TV because of no NFL?

I guess I'll just keep this info to myself then. Actually I keep getting conflicting info. It's legal....its not legal....its OK as long as you don't record for resale. I have seen a number of people selling this service.

Ok, let’s just put a smidge of logic to this. So this guy, semi off the grid, offers hundreds of dollars of channels per month for 15 bucks. If this was legal, it would be advertised all over the place...

One day they will send a signal and it will burn out your fire stick.

I found a guy on Facebook Marketplace that sells what he calls a "pre-loaded" Firestick and he provides a streaming service for $15/month with no contract and no auto or CC payments. I pay through PayPal. The firestick was $50 and that includes the first month streaming service and free shipping. I get 4800+ channels. Now, approximately 1500 are foreign language channels but I mainly bought it for football so I could watch the Seahawks here in SE Louisiana. Week 1 I watched Seattle play the Bengals from a Cincinnati CBS station. Week 2 I watched the game on the Seattle affiliate. It works perfectly and the guy swears it's legal....unless you record for resale.

Anyone want the contact info? a Fast internet connection and an available HDMI port are needed.
Shawn

Be careful!
Back in the mid nineties there was a guy that I worked with. He had bought a cable box from a guy that gave him all available channels. The seller got caught a few years later and as part of his deal he had to give up his customers.
The guy I worked with was one of the names he gave up and he wound up having all kinds of legal trouble.
It was a long time ago so I don’t remember the details or how he eventually resolved things, but I do recall it costing him some money.
If I were to tread in those waters I would probably lean towards what wyrman described. But for the record, I’ve never done that and wouldn’t think about it.

First, I'm not watching the NFL on Sunday Ticket or Red Zone or any pay service. I'm seeing it on CBS, or FOX but from a local market. Netflix and Prime are available but they aren't free....I had to log in with my, already purchased, usernames, etc. Also offered is ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc. in markets like LA, NY, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta....you get the picture. (no pun intended) I'm not getting HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc. without signing up and paying for that service. Seems the same as Direct TV streaming service or any other but with some additional content.

Everything I have read on the sites that have the software say it's illegal.
That say to run a VPN so you can't be traced watching the jail broke firestick.
Now, there are plenty of people selling them, but that doesn't mean it's not illegal to have one.
I'm not judging, like I said, I have one.
Just want people to know what they're getting into.

With my luck I’d be the guy who got caught and made an example of.......
