Hello!
New to the CSR with a ‘new to us’ 2005 Sea Ray 320. We are very excited for our next adventure! We have owned a couple of other smaller boats; 190 Sea Ray and a 216 Crownline. This is a big step up. Kids have grown and it’s not all about tubing anymore. It’s time for mom and dad to enjoy northern Michigan and all it has to offer. Some of the best fresh water in the world!
Fortunate to find an amazing boat. One owner. Lift kept on Lake Charlevoix. Only 240 hours on the twin 350’s with v-drives. Less than 10 hours on the generator. Really has never been slept on or used. Surveyor gave it an ‘excellent’ rating.
Again, excited for next season and looking forward to many new experiences.

Welcome aboard... Nice find.. Great boat

JTLB, welcome to CSR from another (former) Michigander, Saginaw born and bred. I had two different 330's and loved both of them. I think that's one of the best boats SR ever made. Enjoy yours.

Oh, BTW, we have one standing rule on CSR.....without photos it didn't happen. We all like to see photos of everyone's new boat, where they go boating, and the family on the boat.

Welcome! One tip (from a historically frustrated generator owner) - run the heck out of that generator! 10 hours....that's not enough to keep her healthy :)

I hope you get some good boating weekends in up north before fall really sets in. That's a beauty of a Sundancer...

Thank you! I lived in Saginaw for the first 10 years of my life. I’m all about the pictures too so that shouldn’t be a problem!

Thanks for the heads up! I have read about that and definitely plan on using it a lot more than the original owner did. I have been lurking around the CSR for awhile now as I was searching for my boat...

Welcome! I am heading to southern Lake Michigan next spring. Nice looking boat. See you on the water!
Love your boat too! Any tips for keeping the blue look so good? This boat has been very well taken care of and I plan on doing the same, if not more, to keep her that way. How about water spots too? Thanks!!!

Congrats on the new boat and new adventures. Your 320 looks beautiful and absolutely love that blue hull. We did the same thing this fall and moved to a larger family boat and cant wait to spend more time on Lake Charlevoix next summer.

Where do you keep your boat? I’ll be on Charlevoix for sure, just not positive which marina; Irish or Northwest.

I'm still ironing that out. I have just been a transient in Boyne for the past several weeks. Northwest in definitely a nice place that we are considering it if anything is available.

Congrats and Welcome Aboard....Nice looking boat you have there. Sounds like a great find. In 2013 I sold my 220SD (Pewter Hull and Black canvas) and the new owners said that Lake Charlevoix would be her new home. Beautiful lake. Enjoy the new ride.

You are a new boat owner :)…. The thing about water spots is you need to get your head around that under the water spots is a beautiful shine that you spent hours compounding, polishing and waxing...

The second the boat touches water it's over …. but you know under the spots it looks good

Lol! Got it! Boat looks awesome!
My other (much smaller) boats were trailered or on a hoist so wiping them down was not an issue and I always stayed ahead of the water spots. Just wondered if other than the compounding, polishing and waxing was there anything else that you do or can be done on a weekly/monthly basis to help keep it looking that way?
I have read a lot of different things to try and just wondered your thoughts since you have the same beautiful blue hull I do!!! Thanks again!

I use meguiars soap with wax and a boat brush. It helps to get the lake spots off..but then it’s up to your dock water and how hard that is... it’s a battle with colored hulls.

Sounds good. Thanks! I did buy one of those inline filters for the hose to help with the water hardness too.

OK, that begs the question: Where did you live in Saginaw?

Also, I have an Excel spreadsheet that I put together that shows the distance between ports on both sides of the mitten. If you're interested in a copy just send me a PM.
