Why Is CSR So Slow Now?

In all seriousness, it would to be interesting to chart the level of activity on this forum versus the rise of Facebook. I bet they are related inversely.
Mike just said we can't be serious

I have seen huge forums reduced to a hand full of users because of Facebook ... Lake St Clair Network is a good example.

Interesting point, all of the quality of the content on Facebook is very low compared to quality here.

Face book for me is a handy way to share pics of people and places with people in other places. Here I try to keep to boating and boating related stuff , although I digress my pending divorce got through the filter . In my defense though it was about the impact on my boating it has.
Love this club and happy to be here .
Most folks here are well mannered even when in disagreement so slow ir not I'll be sticking around.
Ps my lawyer wants a value on my 30 year old 268 it's a bit of a project .

That's what I've seen as well I am pleased with knowing its value is that high anx that's in line with my insurance policy as replacement vsluev14000. The sad part is it means I'll essentially be giving my spouse 7 for her share and she will blow through that. I paid only 8000 CAD so around 6000 USD.
Part of the reason is I took on some risk ( ok alot)buying it in the middle of a Canadian Winter. Based solely on a good visual inspection with one years maintenance records , which included a sea trial report by marina tecks the previous season.. itvwas seatrialed because the newbie owner had concerns about performance . Compression test was even at 175 but not was down a bit and the tech reported bottom growth fue to infrequent use which coincided with the owners reported reason for selling. Previous owners to him were 12 year owners and friends of his. . That being said without formal survey or sea trial or even hearing it run I bought it and was prepared to have some things that needed attention. I am a skilled mechanic so crossed my fingers and hoped for the best based on my visual inspection. I took care of regularly deferred maintenance items such as all hoses exhaust tubes shutters and tune up items and fixed the fridge . Boats are cheap and plentiful here might get a broker's opinion in writing for a more realistic figure based on local market conditions esp this time of year. Thoughts or recommendations on someone in southern Georgian Bay
