Shopping for a new Tender. Do you have any pictures of your Walker Bay 340 mounted on the platform you can post?

Thank you
Sure. Here you go, those are all I have with it on the boat. I added the one of the motor to give you an idea of hose
Much it overhangs the platform. In the pics It looks like the bow of the dingy overhangs the platform more than it really does. The boat narrows at the back so overall the bow of the dingy and prop on the motor are about 1ft narrower than the widest part of the boat.

With the Walker Bay at 11' 3" I don't think i would want to go any larger.

I've got the same AB 12' as FootballFan - mine has 40 HP Evinrude ETEC. Really happy with it. My dockmate has an 11' Mercury with a 40 HP Mercury. It had to go back to the factory for new tubes - had constant leaks - but all is well now...

Defiantly not any longer IMO. When backing in I worry about catching the prop and lower unit on the pilings and docks as it is.
It really has been a great tender for the boat so far. We have about 24hrs on it this season including pulling the kids on the tube and running around the islands on calms days.

Went with the Brig Falcon 460HT. Fits great. thanks for all the help. Will add a few pictures of it on the back this weekend.

We have a10.2 Aventus RIB with a 9.9 Merc on our GHS platform. Although, I am looking to upgrade to a center console dink, just need to find a buyer for my current one.

I was checking out the Aventus website. Looks like nice dinghys. If you have the Aventus Deluxe, it looks like you can add the helm to your Aventus?

Now thats a good looking dink! Congrats. What made you choose Brig?

Thank you! Wanted another AB but didn’t like the price and kept looking around. Found this and it was a perfect fit, price, look, etc...

So I went with the Brig 11'6", love it overall. Thanks for the info. One thing that i cant seem to figure out (it may be my straps) but the dingy tends to get pushed aft on the chocks. No too much but once that happens it will loosen up a bit. I am using two straps in the rear and one strap on the bow center eye. I am not sure if stronger/better straps will hold better or if i need another strap to hold it from moving back on the chocks.

Have you experienced this? Any thoughts?

I went with snap shackles and SS turnbuckles so that I could get it tight and not worry about it loosening up or moving. Here are few pics of what I used. They are expensive to put together but they make it very easy to load and unload with the snap shackles and they don’t loosen under load or when they get wet.

Thats pretty slick. Do you use three? Where do you get those?

Did you have troubles with it moving around and then went with these?

I have 2 in the back and one on the bow eye. No issues with it moving at all. I used these from the start because I have heard people have hung an issue with the straps loosening up when they get wet.
You can get everything at west
Marine but I looked there for manufacturer names part numbers and then bought online cheaper.
