Electric cook top not very hot..

trying to cook up some eggs and at this rate, it’ll take 15 min using the electric cook top. This is the combo electric and alcohol stove in an 2006 260.
I’m hooked up to shore power, and the setting is on 10.
Kind of surprising if this is normal..would take all day to get water to boil.
Any firsthand experience with these?

We have an electric only, and it does take longer. Most of these units (if not all) are 110v while your home stove is 220v.

My original 3 burner electric has 2 burners that get red hot and 1 that only gets warm. You may have bad thermostatic control. It should get hot enough to cook eggs.
