Towing 19 230SLX with mooring cover??

For our new 19 230SLX we opted for the mooring cover rather than the snap on covers. Anyone out there towed a newer SLX or SPX with the mooring cover? I’ve asked 2 people at the dealer and one said no problem & the other said they advise against it. We will be towing the boat about 2 hours away to go scalloping this coming weekend with half the trip on interstate (65mph) and the other part on 2-4 lane roads (55mph Max).

Appreciate any insight. I will say the mooring cover seems with secure and tight with the tie down mechanism built into it.

Thanks! Yes it’s very snug. That’s why I was surprised the one guy said not to. I prefer to trailer with it on if at all possible.

One guy is big proponent of "CYA"...
