Carpet in Cabin replacement ideas

If I did it again I would wrap the hatches with Infinity as opposed to binding the edgesView attachment 71251 .

I kind of like the way it looks bound. Why would you wrap the hatches instead of binding. Tripping hazard? My hatches are pretty tight, not sure they would close with the vinyl wrapped over the carpet. But I guess I could always remove the carpet from the edges. A lot easier to work on hatch in my garage, than entire floor.

+1 what bobeast said.... I leveled floor ," best I could", made new hatch covers, used vinyl plank.View attachment 71218

RMLSLL: That is exactly what I was planning on my 38. I've laid plenty of Infinity in my basement and mud room .... piece of cake. But what's been stymieing me is the hatch covers. You have them cut beautifully !!! How did you do it? Any advice, how-to pics, or the like? What did you use to cut so perfectly, etc...

Thanks

I own a metal fabricating business and we did it on our waterjet

Wrap for a cleaner look. No trip hazard with the binding, it has worked out fine. The hatches may need to be slightly reduced for fit with the wrap method.
