Fusion Marine customer service??

Thinking about this a little more, I wonder if they just don't want to send out wiring harnesses as a theft deterrent? I don't see why they wouldn't have just stated that up front but I seem to remember some talk about this on a Marine Electronics facebook forum I belong to. Stupid on their part.
I suppose that could be...but that was not offered as a reason at all. Or even hinted at.
We will move on and not lose much more sleep over it, but gonna be awfully hard to recommend their products(and really more their customer service) to other boaters going forward.
 
I wonder how closely the downturn in CS tracks Garmin's aquisition? I'm guessing Garmin would not appreciate such shenanigans.
Curious about that myself. I’m too new to the brand to really know.
 
Hate to read this, I was looking at fusion for my upgrade this fall, now really thinking not.... so stupid

I bought 4 Taylor Big B fenders in April. One had a leak, called the CS and she said email me a pic of it under water in the bath tub showing the leak (bubbles).

After I sent the pic, sent me a new one out. Only issue, it was white instead of sand. Sent a follow up email, sent a sand one....

So painless.

Fusion should of said "email me a pic" and then sent a new one out....

it is my understanding that my buddy did send that pic to the CSR manager and still no dice. I need to clarify with him on that.
 
Quick update...Fusion reached out to me via the review I left on the Facebooks. Asked for contact info so one of their regional people could reach out. Positive step.

We have the harness ordered via a "authorized" Fusion online dealer. And the system is working as designed. And my buddy is only seething mad now. So it's...good?
