Boat Info
400 DA
Engines
CAT 3116s
I know this goes without saying, but SR customer support is great. Very helpful and answers any question you might need an answer to regarding your vessel no matter what vintage...

That said, I wouldn't want you to take it for granted.

If you have some questions you need answers to, perhaps you want to get them answered.

As you know they no longer produce our size vessels anymore and the plants are closed or closing....

I can only hope that the customer service will stay this helpful, informed, and loaded with info for decades to come....

+1 every time i have called them they have been very happy to provide all the info available to them.

The most experienced larger boat Customer Service guys have been retained and are still at the Sykes Creek location so experienced personnel can handle the remaining warranty issues on the last production boats that have unexpired warranties on them. Who knows after that, except that Sea Ray has moved production of the new 40 and 35 to Sykes Creek.......the plant that they seem too not be able to close.

ah great, I am new to Sea Ray with my recently acquired Sundeck and I like it so much that I am looking forward to upgrade it to something bigger in a near future but now you say: the plants are closed or closing.... come on!!!! ahhh, sad day...I still playing Power Ball because I want a Sundancer 350 so bad LOL.

The 350DA is made in either Vonnore, TN or Sykes Creek, FL.

Brunswick closed only the yacht factory (Sykes Creek FL) and the Sport Yacht factory (Palm Coast FL), but I know that is confusing because the Sykes Creek plant is partially opened again to produce the 40 for Vonnore.

As far as your move up goes there is a lot of room and models between your Sundeck and 40 ft.

The 40 model . . . are you talking about the SLX 400 or a new 40 Sundancer?

I've been lucky that I've never needed to call SR direct. Any issues were handled by my dealer MM... well except once on a minor issue that the main man himself (Captain Rusty Higgins) took it upon himself to take care of. How's that for great customer service! The only other experience with a SeaRay person was a very friendly woman who came all the way from TN a few weeks ago to give my wife and I a really GREAT prize, some SR goodies, and even took us out for a nice dinner.
