I need opinions for which SeaDek color to use on our 2001 SeaRay 190 Sundeck. I am having trouble deciding. I have attached a picture of the inside.

Has anyone put SeaDek in a boat of this color?
Thanks.
Sandy

I ended up using snapin carpets that look like teal. Use the same snaps and no gluing

Similar color scheme, maybe our seats are a little darker. After a half season's use, we are still delighted. We have yet to have anyone walk by the docked boat and not comment on how nice it looks.

I just had this installed.

Thirds......GypsmJim has the right combination for a classic color look...brown/black.

Do you remember what colors you use?
The boat upholstery is their "Dune" version. Its a medium brown with dark brown trim. It is the upgrade package, not the standard version with only minimal cushions.

The decking is snap-in SeaDek in brown faux teak. The other teak version is grey.

Here is the info on the darker color teak like Jim and I have. The lighter color teak, like the one Flytrade has, also looks really nice. Both would look good with your interior vinyl color.

We did a fairly light color on our platform because it was the closest color to our cockpit carpet. It does look nice as far as color, but it shows every bit of dirt etc. But we do still like it, just not sure we’d do the same color again.

Great look! I have thought about doing this to my 2000 210 Sundeck. Is this a custom option only with Seadek or is there a DIY option? Also, I think you mentioned it was snap-in? On their website, I don't see an option for snap-in, looks like it's all adhesive? I assume it's custom only type deal and you have to send them templates? Thank you

I would give SeaDek a call. They answered all my questions over the phone. Great service. My son and I installed SeaDek on the swim platform last spring. They had the template in stock. Install took a couple of hours. I think it looks great.

The swim platform is glued down. The interior of the boat is snap-in. It was an option when the boat was ordered from SeaRay. The other option was a vinyl carpet. For 2020 I see that SeaRay has continued with it as an option.

The snap-in is twice as thick as the glue-in. The Seadek is fastened to a base mat, with the snaps going thru both layers.

Not the best photo but we went with Terra over Beach Sand on our 2003 360 Sundancer. This photo is from a warranty repair we just had. It appears SeaDeck has an issue if the sun gets focused and reflected off your gelcoat onto the SeaDeck. Causes the edges to curl. We had this happen on both sides of the boat where we have a step up onto the side of the boat. You can see the step in the left side of the photo. Do a google search and you can find out more about the problem. To prevent it in the future our installer added a small piece of the Beach Sand color on the side wall of the step to prevent the reflection.

Just FYI, probably doesn't matter, but Sea Ray will not let you have the Sea Ray logo put on the SeaDeck. We covered up the Sea Ray logo on our swim platform and just wanted to have it put back in place by having it in the SeaDeck. We contacted Sea Ray directly and had our marina (Sea Ray authorized repair facility) and our Marine Max broker contact them. All got the same answer, "No Way".

I went with a medium brown on my 270 (maybe middle range) and it looked awesome ! But i will admit it did get HOT in direct sunlight. Currently have a very light grey on the swim platform of the 500. And it gets dirty very quickly from foot traffic (dogs included) The brown didnt show the dirt with an occasional scrubbing. We were just talking about this yesterday and thinking when its time to replace carpet on the 500 most likely will go with something lighter than the brown but darker than the light grey. Maybe a darker (not to dark) grey. Have to see what color option are available at that time.

What's your experience been with your dogs and Seadek? Do they scratch the material? Seems like it wouldn't hold up well with dogs, but I am curious...
