I've been playing guitar for 40 plus years. Played on the road in early 80's with a band but got tired of being broke LOL. Got a haircut and a job about '86 but still play daily.
My cousin just gifted me this 1970 Gibson ES335! He has owned it since were were both about 14 years old and pretending to be ZZ top in the garage.
I also have a '95 USA Strat, '92 USA Guild acoustic, 2006 Taylor acoustic, '85 Kramer electric, and a few others.
I wrote this tune for him and his beautiful wife gone too soon.

IMG_2165.JPEG Here's a few instruments I built. Just finished the mandolin two weeks ago. I built a handful of electrics as well. Just a hobby for me, winters are long here in Wisconsin!

This thread is off to a great start! @Sandor...holy shit dude.

And the Kid playing guitar on my boat, just to bring it full circle...

Nice, guys!!!

I don't have a "collection" and I'm a feet up, self-taught, acoustical player mostly playing on the beach or back of the boat...Think country slow, Chesney, Buffett, etc...Wish I could play Satriani, but the "Blade" carbon fiber sits in its case almost forever....

I have an Acoustic Composite and a few Alverez's...But they are stationed strategically around the globe, so they are not together. Just in places where I can pick up the Git and create some finger calluses. With me know is a cutaway folk sized solid body Alverez that keeps me honest.

Nice song @Quint4
