460 DA Owners Thread

Is it bad if I admit I’m going to wait until you have it all so I don’t have to template?!

Anyone have a number for a customer service line at sea ray ? I spoke with Taylor made today about some screw cover foam for our windshield on our 460 DA and they said they need the windshield part #. I don’t have a dealer as I bought it used and shipped it to the Caribbean so any assistance appreciated.
 
I ordered my rubber insert from cruisers actually. It was cheaper and faster shipping. I have the Taylor made part numbers as well.

When I ordered mine from Cruisers....they made a mistake and sent me a 100’ roll for the same price as the 35’ I needed..

You can also go to the sea ray website and download the parts manual for the 460 to get the part numbers.

If you can’t find it I have it and can email it to you.

Well folks ... officially leaving the 460 owners ranks
I got a commitment offer to buy All’s Well today and closing on Sept 1
This has been an awesome boat and I know the new owner is going to get an awesome boat. She’s staying on the same lake in the same slip so it will be an easy transition for the new owner.
Now on to the next hole in the water
 
Well after locating and replacing the temperature sensor on the port engine all back to normal and gauge at the helm is working again. Had to run a ground wire to the block for the new sensor as old one was 1 wire and new one is 2 wire. I ended up buying a battery operated siphon pump to add anti freeze in as some leaked out while changing the sensor. I think this is the easiest way to fill the antifreeze back up. Worked like a champ and only cost 14.99..

Regarding the shower sump in the 460 searay. My float was constantly getting stuck overflowing etc. I replaced the entire unit with a whale sump unit with an external whale pump bought from defender marine. The float is electronic built into the lid not mechanical like a rule. It also runs 30 seconds longer to completely drain the unit. I did this upgrade three years ago and I never had another problem with the whale sump. The sump has 8 inlets that was easy to adapt to searay. The whole design is a huge upgrade.

Which model # Whale sump and pump did you get?
 
My boat is heavy at 34kand has a hard top. I cruise at 17knts at 2200rpm

We cruise at 2150 rpm and typically make 18 - 19 knots
