Has anyone had any issues with DirecTv lately?
I could not lock on to the satallite this whole past weekend. I have a non-hd dish and I had read something a few months ago about the possiblity of non-hd support going away this year and curious if that might have happened.
 
Mine works fine. Have it on right now.
 
Is your satellite receiver (for example KVH equipment) locking onto satellites?

Nope. The boat came with a non-hd Sea King dome like the M1, and I could not get it to lock on at all. Just kept searching, even when manually told to re-calibrate.
 
I have a Sea King dome as well. Mine had a little trouble yesterday morning locking onto the satellite but eventually it worked.
Try reloading the software, Dealer Setup, Code 13, Option 21. Also you can tell it to recalibrate for your zone.

Thank you, yep thats what I have been doing - recalibrating. Did that all day Saturday and it never locked on. I should try reloading the software, didn't try that.

I made the mistake of runnig the boat without the sat being on, and now it can't relocate and lock on.

I spoke with Sea King and they said DTV is switching there signal around (Going only HD) and they (Sea King) are not going to update anything. They actually said if it works great, if not good luck.

Might be time for a new system ...

Not looking forward to that day either. Let's hope it keeps working.
