Has this ever happened to anyone? I'm thinking it had to be quite a wave... or a dock... or another boat... Thoughts???

Cement wave or a post wave...

eBay has them if they washed away

Mine was torn off several times by the pump out boat! Always handed back to me with a "Sorry about that". It got to a point where I could not re-attache it. No would take responsibility, so I found one on ebay. Pump out comes in from the stern now.

Yep, its a standard vent cover. Available all over the internet.

One of mine fell off last year. It was loose every spring, but I would bang it back in (held on with Christmas tree type friction fasteners), thinking it would stay. I guess the plastic trees break down over time and mine was gone on return to the dock one trip. Maybe a wave, maybe just vibration. Not a bump on anything. Bought a replacement on ebay. Fits perfectly and was hard to push the tree's in. This one wont fall off for a while!

I have a similar situation. My question is two of the three xmas tree retainers are broken off flush. May I just push them through or do I need to extract them. If extraction, any suggestions. Thank you.
