Has anyone swapped out the SR Systems Monitor for the Blue Seas that Defender has listed on their website? If so, how difficult was it to convert to the Blue Seas system from the SR model?

Any reviews on the Blue Seas vs the SR Monitor?

I have not seen the Blue Seas offering before - as Mark provided, the Sbmar solution seems much better. Alternatively ttmott did a N2K solution with Maretron http://www.clubsearay.com/index.php...nd-improve-the-sea-ray-systems-monitor.91270/ I plan to add a N2K network to my boat so may go with Tom's solution as it is more cost effective.

The Blue Sea system monitor is for non-engine related items and the SBMAR product is a vessel view replacment.

i went way beyond the system nmonitoring though, but it was well worth th etime and money if you love your boat. Good luck!
