500/520 DB official thread

There is simply an o-ring in there. I have part number somewhere I’ll look for it and post. Be careful retightening the bolts mine were fragile and broke a couple.
Ok, thanks for the info. Were the o-rings leaking on yours?

Morning fellas, I found a coaxial outlet on the back of the counter on the bridge. Does this work like the rest of the satellite TV's and show whats on the main salon TV? Anyone use it? Mike

I believe that’s just a point where the antenna is connected
So if you look for over the air channels or hook up to cable at the dock(if anyone does that any longer?) that will give you a connection at the bridge I don’t think it has anything to do with the sat tv unless a previous owner added it for that reason. Mine is for what I stated.

I have not tried to replace but the microwave on ours seems to take forever to cook popcorn so if you find a replacement that fits please post.

Found a replacement convection microwave that is a perfect fit — and the door opens down, instead of swinging out. I needed to drill some new holes on the mounting board, but it fits like a glove.

It’s a Samsung MC11K7035CG

That looks great, thanks for the pics and model number. How do you get to the screws holding the mounting panel in?

I located the microwave on the board so it was in the right position, then flipped the whole thing over, measured, and drilled new holes.

Are you guys concerned with the amount of clearance required for a convection? I've been wanting to replace our microwave but am not sure putting it in an enclosed cabinet is a good idea.

The factory unit was a convection microwave, so I wasn't concerned. But I did line the inside of the cabinet with heat shield material, and we always run the vent fan when using the oven

What model number is the microwave convection oven? Ours was not working when we bought our boat & replaced ours with a microwave that fit. At the time couldn’t find a combo unit that fit well without modifying the cabinet.

I bought a 2006 52 with MAN 800’s

I have had the MAN service guy Steve K Mid west / Lake Michigan.

He pointed out that starboard engines have a remote oil filter and due to this the oil pressure is typically 10 psi less than port and I should not get worried about it.

The concern I that my MAN screen sends about an audible alarm saying low oil pressure after running. When I look at pressure....PORT is 35-40 and STARBOARD is 25-35 psi.

Based on the remote oil filter and the theory that due to the length of hoses for the remote filter it seems to be logical.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing.....Did you ever find a way to change the parameters of the audible alarm on MAN screen to account for this?

That doesn't sound right. I don't think the remote filter should make a difference.

Anyone interested in a free near new cockpit carpet for a 50/52 sedan?

We are having Flexi Teak installed next week and do not need it any longer. It’s only been used since May and is in great shape. I believe the color is the original colored carpet from Sea Ray, “pebble sand”

Pick up on Long Island would be great but can ship at cost too.

Scott, while I can't help with the pressure, it was great meeting you this weekend! Pretty boat. This was us Thursday night in Milwaukee. Mike
