Wow. Lake Ontario never looked like that back when we boated there! We'd come out of Toronto Harbour or Ontario Place right into lots of action!

Great pics. Where are you moored?

We're 30 miles across from Toronto in Wilson. Yeah, it's pretty rare when it lays down like that out there. This was a few years ago when I had my 4-Winns 245.

In 2003 we took our 24' Doral on a trip from Toronto to Trenton and then Picton. Lake was glass for about 15 minutes outside of Toronto and then it kick up with 5-6 foot waves. I was motoring along in a following sea and finally pulled into Port Hope for the night. Next day was the same all the way to the Murray Canal. Same on the way back to Cobourg. The fun of big lake boating!

Ouch, that's a long trip in those conditions in that size boat for sure. Yeah, Cobourg, love that place. A few of us had reservations there 2 weeks away, but it looks like they're still mostly underwater, so I'm heading to Marina Four in Toronto instead.

anywhere near oak orchard? if you see fireworks right there by the inlet... its my good friend and his family

We're about 35 miles to the west, but I've been over there a few times.

Enjoy your trip to Toronto!

Yep, love that little trip. So much awesome stuff to eat there.

Last trip. Stayed at Toronto Island Marina.

Nice. We spent many a night tied to the wall on Toronto Island just past the Island Yacht Club. We liked it near the end near the old lighthouse.

Enjoy the eats! Toronto does have great restaurants.
