That looks awesome! Does the drawer somehow lock into place when it's parked?

What did you do with the old wiring for the TV? Cap it and coil it away behind? Also, did you add material to create a back wall of the opening? Last time I slid the TV out thought there was no backer and you could see the inside of the hull. Going from memory so could be wrong. The TV below days are numbered. Probably cutting edge tech in 2004 but compared to today's LCDs worthless.

Hey VillianStyle, where did you get the rack?

Removed the TV yesterday. Took the bottom self home to begin figuring out how to build a bottle holder system. For those who have removed the TV, what did you do with the two electronic boxes that I believe drive the TV? See attached pic. Would like to remove so the opening looks cleaner. Will add some material in the back of the opening so it is solid but removable for future access. Guess I will just coil the wiring away behind and zip-tie.

Decided to use the space instead for the ice-maker. Nice having the counter space back. Using the original locking slider the base is very solid. Also it was great there was a 110 outlet behind the old TV.
