Why do I have Diesel View Calibration on SystemView

Does anyone know why I would get a Diesel View Calibration screen on my System View? It’s as if it’s an initial setup. Any ideas how I can exit the screen or should I just go thru the startup calibration process?
 
Mark, found my old manual, let me know if you'd like to have me send you a copy. "Calibration" does appear to be the first screen after a factory reset so I would think that is what happened. Perhaps the unit lost its memory, hopefully temporarily. Assuming you have SmartLink gauges, do they (fuel, battery) come up when the unit is powered on?
I can't see any way to get out of the screen. I would go ahead with the calibration process, ensure you turn everything else on (generator, NMEA 0183 devices) that the unit used to provide data from.
 
Al - I just notice you are in West River. My boat came from the West River. You may have known the previous Owner of my boat. John Lauer - boat was called "Key West Express".
 
Al - Yes I would like a copy please. My email is mrlahart@aol.com. Thank you. The Gauges do come up when the unit is powered on. Are you saying I should "start" the Generator before the calibration process?
Manual sent. It's good news that the gauges work, I think this means your connections are good through the Smartcraft harnesses from the engines and the DieselView is passing the signals through.
The unit detects all the sensors connected when it's powered up, so they need to be on just so the DieselView can see them. This probably includes the generator. The depth sensor and navigation data is probably coming in over a NMEA 0183 connection so you likely need the navigation system on and operating so the unit can sense that signal. There is a way to go back and do this again ("Reset Sensor Detection") if you need to.
