It is mounted in the cupboard /sink in the aft salon of my 420AC.
Part # is 00-00554-000.Picture attached.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank-you

On my boat the controller is mounted by the genset and converts the two button config from westerbeke for starting the genset (pre heat and start) to a single button config in the panel.

It's a solid state latching relay and like k9medic says it's for lighting.

Sorry for the bad info, wouldn't think there was more than one use for these things. I don't know why they needed to add one for the genny either. Lights? I don't get it. Anyway thanks for the info.

The genny has one as well but it's completely different.

I happen to have a spare one for the genny BTW.

Monoplex is a company that made various electronic devices. The device they made for the generator is a start sequencer, the device for lighting is a latching relay, and they made a controller for the motorized sofa to bed used in many boats. I don't think they are even in business anymore; Sea Ray started using similar electronic devices from Intellitec in the early 2000's. I believe the Monoplex generator start sequencer was only used on Westerbeke generators for a couple of years; if you have a spare, hang on to it..... The later generators have electronic controls and integral start sequencing.

If they went out of business and you need one for the lights, how would you solve this switching problem? Thanks for the insight.
