I have the GPS mounted and the transom transducer mounted. I can't get the line snaked past the aft bunk. How do I pull those panels off on the starboard side to get the line to the helm. Thanks.

IIRC, I came up from the engine room by running into the space outside mid cabin on the starboard side and then up by removing the plastic cubby at the helm.

Search for my post on installing a windlass and you will see some pictures.

When I did my windlass, and running other wires (I had the same model as you), I didn't go all the way down to the midcabin. When you're at the helm, the cubby by your right leg is quickly removable. Under the sink, the back wall is also easily removable (I may have had to first remove the box-out around the sink drain, though... but still easy). Once you get those out, it's pretty easy to see the path and poke through the silicone blob to the stbd side of the engine room. Remember to silicone it back up. I doubt it took me more than 20-30 minutes to remove both of those areas and gain that access.

Basically, just follow the other wires/cables that go the helm from the bilge.

David,
Where exactly did you mount the transducer? I'm wanting to add a color graph unit to my 2007 260 DA, but where to mount a transducer has become an issue. I'm not getting into the through hull mount option. Would love to mount a tranducer in epoxy in the sump area.
