480 DB Owners Club

Still learning the boat. What are the digital gauges for when you scroll up on the helm? I think I know a couple of them, but not sure.

Ga-1
Ga-2
Ga-3
Ga-4

Keith.
Oil pressure, engine temp, tranny temp, tranny pressure. I believe.

Has anyone found a source for the SS “bullet” end caps on the lower aft rub rail above the water line?

Still no luck, anyone have any ideas?

Also has anyone found the interior push button latches for the cabinets? I have found the knobs but not the rectangular white plastic latches themselves - the knobs are out there. I think they are Hafele.

Has anyone else had this strange alarm/tone?

Three times at the beginning of last season and three times this past weekend, I've gotten a short beep and a long beep that lasts about two seconds emitting from the dash. Four of the times I was idling out of the marina and saw no alarms on the Cummins or Sea Ray monitors. The other two times I just happened to be on the bridge, the keys were out of the ignition and all electronics were turned off??

It sounds a lot like the tone I get when starting the engines and also thought possibly a bad high water float switch (all bilges are dry) but that would display on the Sea Ray monitor for atleast a few seconds.

All 400 sedan bridge owners. We are looking at purchasing one and comparing it to a 391 meridian. Looking at the pros and cons of the 400 DB and for some feedback. The one big pro is the $100k+ price difference

You are in the 480 thread.....may want to try the 400 thread or start a new one - the 391 meridian was very popular and is a much "newer" design than the 400DB hence the price difference.

Thanks, I miss read the forum name!

Here are the codes according to the website listed in the forum.

Ga-1 Engine coolant temp
Ga-1 Engine Oil Pressure
Ga-3 Transmission Oil Pressure
Ga-4 Transmission temp

I am actually thinking mine are different than listed. I will update if they are.

Ok guys, hoping you can help here. Yesterday, the door handle going into the master head broke. I didn't have time to pull the Parts Manual (it's on the boat) and I am hoping someone here has access to it, so I can determine the correct part number to order for replacement.

Did you get an answer to this? Mine will do something like that if I leave the VHF on (not on standby) and shut down the navigational system. The VHF looses the GPS data and alarms.

I will get a loud alarm sometimes if I don't do my proper start up process with my GPS and Chart Plotter. The GPS takes a little bit longer to get the "Fixed" position and if my Chart Plotter completes the start up process before my GPS, I will get a "Lost Position" alarm.
