Official (1998-2002) 310 Sundancer Thread

I'll post this in the classified section also but I'm in search of an OEM cockpit table for the 2000 310. If anyone knows where to get one, let me know.

My under cabinet rope lighting appears to be not lighting up entirely. Has anyone replaced their rope lighting? Is it difficult to do?

Not difficult to do at all. I replaced all lighting on my 310 with LED, including the rope lights. There are three areas. I put a controller in each area and my remotes are programmed to control all three controllers.

My buddy wants to mount a TV by the sink in cockpit. Has anyone ran the wires from sink to TV in cabin. Thanks Rich

Need help please.
I have a 2000 310 searay sundancer with 2 350 hp merc. gas engines with low hours.
Any body have some ideas why my starboard engine alarm goes off when reaching 6 knots and getting up to 1.5 rpm? The alarm shuts off when decreasing speed and using only port engine to move.
I have changed out all the sparks plugs and wires. The diagnostic is good, miss fired on 6 and 8 which have been replaced. Temps seem to be normal. Very frustrating. I appreciate any and all ideas. Thank you

We had the same issue a few years ago and it was some type of oxygen sensor that had to be replaced.

There is no Oxygen sensors on these motors.
If the alarm is going off it probably has a code stored in the ECM.
Is it a constant beep/beep?

Thanks for the clarification. Yes the alarm is a constant Beep until i bring the throttle all the way down and using just the port engine.

Mine is a 2002 but the issue was the same as described. Since it was several years ago, I was pretty sure they said it was an oxygen sensor. That said, it was some type of sensor that once replaced solved the issue.

Maybe this link will be helpful as a place to start...

I just saw a tan curtain set on eBay. If u have an original Great Lakes too, u can just call them and they can send u one. As for TV, I’m going through same thing. Will prob mount a 32 above aft cabin. Then I will do something with that area.
There is a sea Ray 310 forum on Facebook that has the manuals saved in the “files” join the group for access.

Hello all, looking to try and figure out how to remove the upholstered bolsters above the porthole windows in the main bed area. Boat has sat for a while and mice got up in there and I need to clean. I have pulled on it pretty good and it is attached somehow. Any help appreciated.

By any chance is there a section on this forum that stored the 2000 (specifically) 290 Owner's Manual? It doesn't exist on the SeaRay.Com site nor on other Sea Ray club/forum type sites. Or, does someone in this group have a pdf version they'd forward to me?

Thanks.

Newbie Here (if it isn't obvious):
Is the 2000 290 Sundance and 2000 310 Sundance the same boat?
Overall length 29' 8" and "w/swim platform" 31' 8" beam 10' 2".

Golfman: OK. I noticed in looking at the pictures of the interior, that the additional foot and about 3,000 lbs. was put to really good use in the interior design.

Also that with 11' 2" beam I can skinny by on CA towing permits "10' to 11'" for only $90 per year.

The extra weight I've already calculated towing in almost buying a 2007/8 310.

OK then. SeaRay.Com doesn't show/list/archive/have the Owner's Manual or a brochure for the 2000 310 Sundance (I think I'm in love!!). Is there anyone on here that can direct me to these?

Thanks.

Correction: I just found the brochure. But still need/want the Owner's Manual.

Thanks.
