Gas tank leaking

I finally got my tank out. Ended up
Pulling it up through the floor in the cabin. It has a hole in it where one of the straps was rubbing it. Actually a screw that was holding the strap down came loose and backed out. So I’m getting one made locally. Hopefully won’t break the bank.

Also pulled the motors out thinking that was the way to go at first. It’s been an experience lol

Good to see you haven't let it bum you out too bad. Looks like your experience is just beginning. Ours is stripped to bare hull mid cabin to transom. Should be roughing out the new stringers and bulkheads tomorrow.

Finally got my new tank built. Maybe I can get to the lake before it gets too cold. Had a friend of my dads build it. He used stainless steel instead of aluminum. It’s definitely heavier than the original. But it should last for a long time.
