on our 1999 da500 this fuse panel is behind the circuit breaker panel in the electronics hole. all manuals on this boat are missing. Question is the 2 missing fuses what would they go to and what amp fuse? and where can I find a wiring diagram for this boat?

not to state, the obvious, but what on the boat doesn't work?

And, there may be nothing wrong. Sometimes Sea Ray added an electronics fuse block but didn't install enough separate electronics items to require all the fuse positions. The wires off the output end of the empty fuse position may terminate behind the panel with nothing connected to them. Unfortunately, you are probably just going to have to trace each individual wire to see were it goes.

not sure yet. im tracing as we speak. But they have current. I was curious what that fuse block would be associated with in general. I didnt want to put the wrong fuse amperage, obviously. So I am being cautious. No books with this boat so nothing to reference.

lots does not work..long story.. could be a bidge pump could be spot light. it does have wires attached so something is wired to it and pops pretty good when a fuse is inserted. also I see your from Panama city ..any good diesel mechanics there? Im in the middle of an inframe rebuild as well. A good Detroit guy would be of help. Road mechanic will work. I had head work done in Panama City..Cylinder Head Service..they seemed very competent..Tim is his name

Can you try turning EVERY 12V accessory off then turn them back on one at a time? If that doesn't make a difference, it's either a constant on item such as, for example, a float switch for a bilge/shower pump (or an auto pump) that is possibly stuck on or shorted or there is a short somewhere (hopefully not).

The owner's manual section on Sea Ray's website doesn't seem to have your model right now - at least not for 1999. I quickly looked at a '99 450DA and that doesn't have a wiring diagram - your manual may not, either. What's strange is that my '99 260DA DID have a wiring diagram in it. Maybe it was a separate book for the bigger boats? But if you contact Sea Ray, they 'may' have it available. Once you have that, you can look at the data code on the wires and compare to the electrical diagram.

And... there's always the "Previous Owner" variable... which is sometimes NOT a good thing...

my 290 didn't have a wiring diagram in the owners manual and I emailed searay customer service about getting a wiring diagram and charts on electrical locations of everything and about 4 or 5 days latter they email me 18 pages of electrical diagrams and locations of everything for every engine/electric options for that year boat. When you email them make sure you include your boats VIN number!
