Ok, I've been going through my entire boat bringing everything and I mean everything up to new ( when I'm done with this boat ya'll are going to want to buy it because it's going to be like new) . And, I'm pretty knowledgeable on figuring everything out, this one I can't figure out what it is or what is does. I'm being lazy....what is this?

With the exhaust being where it is not sure. Where does the black hose with the orange collar go? But agree with Bennett, seems to be for air of some sort.

That's definitely the compressor for your air horn. You should have an approximately 1 gallon or so air storage tank located nearby.

Awesome, yes there's a tank and it now it all makes sense! Thanks everyone!

Damn, that must be one loud set of horns
Just made the deal for a 510 Sundancer, two shinny horns on top of the radar arch. Horns that don't work. I'll have to be looking out for that one. Thanks

Found my air system on my forward engine room bulk head. (510 Sundancer) Have no idea why they used a 24 volt system. Think I'll knock mine down to a more workable 12 volt system. Parts are much more plentiful and a darned sight more reasonably priced

Let me know what you end up with. I agree as this whole setup is way overkill for me and I have a problem with mine as well. It squeals instead of the normal horn sound.

I usually get that from water that is laying in the horn. I would remove and clean out the horn. be careful when you wash down.

Thanks Rocket, I'll give that a shot as the compressor and everything else works.
