Does anyone have a source for the OEM quality "340" decal/emblem for the late 03 - 08 boats? SeaRay is currently asking $145ish each for those 3 little numbers. I would love to replace them to make the boat look newer, but not at that price. If not, is anyone else interested in purchasing some if I can have them made for a reasonable price? I will likely need to do a large quantity to get them as a high quality domed decal like the OEM decal/emblem.

If yours are still in decent shape, meaning not chipped or broken off, they will actually clean up pretty easily. Hit them with some 303 vinyl/fiberglass cleaner and they should pop back to life.

Way cheaper than buying replacements.

Hmm, I will give that a try. They are still solid, doming is just looking faded. I used to own a sign shop and have already created the artwork for an exact duplicate, but that certainly sounds easier.

I redid all of my decals. I found them on eBay from a guy named shabestari in California. I first got the decals that go at the base of the arch including the "260." I went directly back to him at david@shaabestari.com and he made me some other decals when I cusomized my trailer. He does fabulous work and several on here have purchased from him. He has the OEM prints. You can contact him directly at the email above or check out eBay. Great quality, easy purchase, and very cheap compared to what Sea Ray wanted.

I also found shabestari on EBay, he made new "185" decals for me, great job, good price.

The problem with the guy on ebay and most small sign shops is that they are not the domed/dimensional decals like the original. I have vector artwork ready and could walk into any local sign shop(or my old shop) and have these cut fairly cheap. The doming is where it gets difficult. I can buy the kit to do it for about $100, but there is a relatively high failure rate for doing it yourself. If i ordered 100 or so, I get better quality materials and perfect doming.

I held mine up beside the originals before changing them out and my wife nor myself could tell the difference. Now, I am not a professional, but they were so good that I could not tell the difference and I was not about to pay the SR price. I am happy and my wallett is happy!

Just about every kind of Sea Ray decal is available on eBay. Sometimes it can be a trick to find them...but they are out there.

Dave Shabestari is still around. I found him on eBay and emailed him (and he responded). His email: david@shabestari.com

He's making some 290 decals for me.
