i had a sea trial on a 2004 SR 280 with 4.3 engines an alpha drives. The engines have 185 hours and boat has always been in fresh water. The WOT rpm was only 4100 rpm. Is that adequate?

Ralph, That is not adequate. But first we need more details. Where the engines in sync? If so was the bottom dirty? Has this boat been sitting in the water? Drives and props clean and free of debris? Did you trim the drives up a click or two when at speed?

Drives and props clean. The capt was having problems with the trim tabs.

No should be higher than 4100. Said there was a problem with the trim tabs, are they controlled by the eim, have a lot of problems with those pads, just google it. May be causing them to be all out of wack
