Official 320 Dancer Thread

I used these. Little smaller footprint but easy to install.

Having my helm replaced on my 320. Looking to get autopilot placed when she is on the hard this winter. Any suggestions on autopilots?
Raymarine Evolution.

I received the knock sensor alarm on my port engine this evening. What causes this alarm to go off and how do I fix it?

Sorry for the vague description, this is all new to me.

Thanks in advance!

My port side wiper was working every now and then and now I’m getting completely nothing, no movement or noise..... does anyone have any recommendations or know how to access the wiper motor for the port side wiper???
TIA

Another upgrade. Tied it into the main bilge panel with a 15a breaker.

I have one of each.

Above is one unit I found online.
And West Marine has all 4, black or white, battery or powered via 12v from boat.

I also bought a few battery-powered ones, to augment the 12VDC wired one. The aft cabin is a low spot, near the generator, so having one there is a good idea... or at least mid-cabin. I never bolted it on anywhere, so it annoyed the first mate to no end (LOL). But I felt better having multiple ones, on different power supplies. And when we had a CO alarm on a raft up last summer, it was the "portable" battery powered one that was more aft that went off.

This is what I used for that:

Great idea. I have one of those as well. Battery just went out, so before our raft up for memorial weekend, bought 2 new 9 volt batteries. I finally remembered to pull the battery out before I leave the boat, since I don’t care about the CO levels while sitting on the rack, and I don’t like getting to the boat and hearing chirping and trying to track down what is causing the beeps!!

My cockpit sink is leaking, anyone know where I can find something similar to the picture below? I've tried a few local plumbing stores with no success. Or is it best just to replace the whole faucet?

Also, what is the accessory switch for on the DC panel?

Sorry for late reply to this question but in case this helps anyone - this o ring may be what you're looking for.

As far as I know it is unique; I looked around.

Replacing the faucet as discussed is a good idea anyway but you may still have problems with the hose fitting.

You can also cut the old fitting off the hose and use a 1/2 female npt swivel pex adapter with a hose clamp. Lots of them will leak so you'll want a fix ready. I had an interesting afternoon when I forgot the city water hookup was on and didn't know the pressure regulator was shot. We went got lunch and came back and I heard hissing, as though a new issue was talking to me, taunting. Pressure had blown the fitting off the head sink and there was four inches of water in aft cabin. Good thing we brought lunch back so it was only a mess and not a disaster and bonus the captain could eat while I pumped.

Credit for this fix is due somewhere else on this forum it's discussed plenty.

Hope this helps.

New owner of a 2007 320 Sundancer and I am in need of some help as how to prime the air conditioner fresh water pump. The unit was pumping water when I had it surveyed and after shipping it to its new location the pump does not pump water. I'm thinking it needs primed.

Thanks

Hi E35123,

First you can try to run it in reverse. Put the heat on 75 or 80 and run it for 5 minutes or so (go tinker around or something while you wait). Then power off, lower temp to 65 or below and press cool on the panel (cross fingers).

Ok if that didn’t do it. You’ll have to open the engine compartment, go to the ac pump, loosen hose clamp for the top hose that feeds the ac unit down below. Turn on ac and let straight water pump into the bilge or a bucket until steady. With AC still running, attach hose back to pump and tighten clamp. You should be good to go if pump is in working order. See pic. Stay cool!

Thanks for the info WaterDog_LI.
I understand and will give it a try Friday when I get back to the boat.

Just run the boat it will prime your ac pump.

Windshield Power Vent Window

Looking for a replacement rubber gasket that surrounds this power vent window. Leaks pretty badly and would like to replace. Any ideas of suppliers would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bill

I have been searching also with no luck. I applied sil glyde and it plumped it up and slowed down the leak significantly.

Anyone here using a inflatable fold up dinghy that you can store in the boat or dock box ?? after a weekend of having some annoying people on the boat and being tied up with 12 other boats it was tough to kick them off so I now want a dinghy lol. . Tell me what you guys got and how you are using/storing them pics would be a nice help as well! NOT looking to mount anything to the swim deck!

Thanks all!!
