Text Great Lakes Buoys

That's pretty cool if it works.

I have friends that use it all the time and love it. I just pull up link on my pad to see the changes as that has 24 hours of data.

Do any of you guys use the US Coast Guard app? I've been using this for several years, and once I open the app, and click NOAA bouys I can see every bouy on the Great Lakes. I have it set to show me the closest bouy which shows me every one within about a 30 mile range. As a bonus the app also satisfies the USCG requirement of having the "Rules of the Road" with you.

Yes! +1

Me too!
I also use the surfing lakes app, and the wave forecast. shows the forecasted wave ht for each lake. Very handy while traveling! I found it to be pretty accurate. It uses the NOAA Great lakes forecast and maps out wind direction along with change in wave ht.

I've been using this along with NOAA zones and buoys. https://www.windy.com/?47.491,-87.979,8
