So I have the manifolds/risers/elbows off, awaiting deliver on the new ones.
On the port side of each engine was one of these...from the top of the exhaust manifold, into the intake manifold.
The dealership said they are disco'd parts. The brass fittings..I'm not confident in them giong back in properly without...cross threading, or..leaking, or..rounding off the flat nut surfaces. The pipe is copper, covered in a cloth jacket (protection from heat?) Might there be a newer, and flexible...replacement for this? Home made ideas?
